Welcome!

Visiting a new place for the first time can be pretty intimidating.

  • What will it be like?
  • What should I wear?
  • What's available for my kids?
  • How do I get there?
  • Where do I park?
  • Will people judge me?

We hope we can answer some of your questions to make your experience at Journey an enjoyable one. Check out this video for a flavor of who we are and to expect.

Our simple hope is to give you an opportunity to experience God.We believe that God’s Spirit is a creative and impassioning spirit that gives significance and hope to a person’s entire being as they open themselves up to the love of Christ.

What to Expect

If you want a church that has worship music that rocks, a message that is relevant to what you are going through in your life, and where it’s absolutely unacceptable for you to have to deal with your problems by yourself then we are the church for you.

Journey is a place where you can bravely ask the most basic questions about God and not feel uncomfortable. A place where you are loved no matter who you are, where you've been, or what you've done.

We acknowledge that everyone is at a different place in their spiritual journey with God, so we expect people to seek at their own pace realizing that all of us need to experience God for ourselves. Thus, Journey exists to encourage, challenge, and teach you how to connect with God. You might even experience worship in a way you never have before.

We just can't leave well enough alone, as we constantly strive to make church relevant for ourselves, be it with a joyful noise or somber retreat. You can expect to find the most eclectic group of individuals united with one common interest; the desire to know Christ's fullness in their lives.

For all practical purposes, I was on top of the world!  Yet, at the same time, I was feeling empty and unfulfilled.  Then I walked into Journey.  And unbeknownst to me, God was at the door saying, “I have been waiting for you.”  ~ Everardo Zavala, Jr.

What if I have Kids

If you have kids, bring them too! Our children's ministry provides a safe and loving atmosphere for kids from birth to age 8. For more information, check out the Children's Ministry page.

I've come to a Sunday service. Now what?

What's the next step for getting connected at Journey? We believe the answer lies in our Life Groups which meet during the week. The people at the Welcome Center in the main lobby of the church can help you find a group that best fits your life-stage and interests.

Life Groups are a great place to meet with a small group of like-minded people for fellowship, prayer, encouragement, and support.
